Ron Weasley and His Ice Cream Truck

“O noes! What has I done?! Bought me an ice cream van!”

19 year-old Rupert Grint (aka “Ron Weasley” from the Harry Potty films) has bought his first car-or rather, should I say, his first ice cream van.

Rupert Grint, who finished his studies at 16 and left school has now passed his driving lessons. With his license at hand and his dosh, he has gone out to buy an ice cream van because “It’s really cool.”

“When I was younger I had sort of — always seemed like a really cool job to be an ice cream man,” he said. “And I thought, why not? It was really cool as well. Like a freezer and some sinks. It’s got a musical tune and all that. We drive it all the time. It’s good.”

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to buy or get free ice cream from Rupert because he claims that there are some complicated laws surrounding ice cream vending. He simply drives it and plays the music in it. Someday, he stated, he hoped to be vending out free ice creams to his Harry Potter co-stars while on set.
However, if an acting career does not work out for him, we may soon be buying our summer quota of ice creams from Mr. Grint.

He said: “I’ve got to do other things after ‘Harry Potter’ so I’ll just see what happens. I’ve still got my ice cream van if it doesn’t all work out, so I’ll be all right.”

Lately, Rupert and his co-stars Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe went to Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood to put down their hand prints, foot prints and wand prints (!) on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “We were really surprised we actually got to do that,” he said. “I was really nervous about doing that. Before we went on, I was shaking pretty badly… It was amazing, yeah. I’m 19 years old and I’ve been in ‘Harry Potter’ movies and now I’m on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.”

Well now that’s over, it’s back to driving his ice cream truck…

What the police did to Rupert’s truck when they found out he didn’t have a vending license…
