“Watashi wa ninja! FEAH MEH!”
Do you like Ninjas? Please, read on!
忍者 or Ninja are highly trained persons who deal with combat, guerilla warfare, fighting etc. They are usually used in highly dangerous and stealthy missions. They are often compared to spies, such as in the British SAS. The exact origins of Ninja culture is unknown but is said to have Chinese influence and were first seen in the fourth century feudal Japan, and were active between the Kamakura to the Edo period. They can take roles from spying to assasination and are often used to cause problems socially in the enemy territory either in the service of their feudal rulers or as part of an underground Ninja organisation uprooting the enemy via guerilla tactics.
The Ninjas have invaded popular culture in both Japanese and Western cultures. They can be portrayed as highly realistic to wonderfully exaggerated. Ninjas have appeared in many medias, such as television with Ninja Turtles and the Anime Samurai Scroll, in films including James Bond: You Only Live Twice and even in books such as the Manga Naruto.
So if you’re a big fan of Ninjas and their cool looks and even cooler tactics, try out the following tutorial! The website that hosted this image has now gone to Page Heaven 404 but thankfully I had a copy on my computer. You can now dress up as a Ninja!
